Crane Frog Air Purifier (Target Exclusive) Review and Giveaway!
My daughter has been using a Crane Humidifier in her room all winter long. We have been really impressed with how quiet it is and how great it works. PetCakes Review
I have been seeing PetCakes around the blogosphere a lot lately. I remember the first time I saw them I thought they were really cute. So when I was given the opportunity to review the PetCakes Collectible Series 2 I was very excited. I couldn't wait to see them in person and see what my daughter thought.
The PetCakes Collectible Series 3 consists of 4 adorable little animals: Honeycakes, Bamboo Berry, Nutty Niki, and RocoCoco. When the box arrived the first thing I thought was, wow they are a really nice size! I don't know why I assumed they would be much smaller. But they are the perfect size for little ones to play with.
I took them out and my daughter came running. She must have sensed there was more than one in the box because she kept asking for more. When she finally had all four of her new friends she took them into her playroom and starting to take them out of their cupcake holders. She checked each one out and then mixed them all up into each others cupcake holders. She laughed and giggled as she played. At night she lines them all up next to each other and comes running for them in the morning.
I have to say the PetCakes are even cuter and cooler in person than in pictures. They are soft and cuddly and very well made. They appeal to my daughter who is still very young, but I could also see them appealing to older children. They are a great product!

Weight Loss Week 14
Ahhhh! I am so beyond frustrated! I was SO good this past week. I watched what I ate. I truly cut back on my portions. I didn't snack. I even did more exercising than usual. And did it pay off? Barely!
Ok, so at least I went down and not up. But this has to be the most frustrating week yet. I was really expecting a bigger loss. So I am bummed.... very bummed. I guess I'll keep trying for another week and see if it makes a difference.

GreenPan Review
My husband and I love to cook. We are always flipping through different magazines and recipe books looking for the next new meal we want to try. Our family and friends all know about this passion for food, so our kitchen is stocked with every gidget and gizmo one could adore. But, we have just a few pans and some are pretty old and beat up (we still have a couple my husband used in his dorm room at college... you can imagine their condition).
So when I was given the opportunity to review the GreenPan I was really excited and had to tell my husband right away. So the chef in him started to do some research on it to see what we should expect. The first thing that jumped out was how safe and environmentally friendly these pans are. There's a whole scientific explanation with a lot of words I can't pronounce that you can read about on their website. But what it boils down to is that the nonstick surface is created with Thermolon which doesn't contain the typical chemicals found in other nonstick pans. This helps it to also heat up faster and use less energy.
Sounds great, right? A nice plan that's safer, healthier, and greener. But how does it perform? Well, we wasted no time putting it to the test. We made is some nice omelets because the size and depth were perfect for it. Everything cooked really nicely... and then... the best part... it was so easy to clean! It's REALLY nonstick. Everything just slide out and the pan was quickly and easily cleaned.

Stuff Every Husband Should Know. I'm sure it's a book that a lot of wives have thought about writing over the years. And now someone actually has!
With chapters like "How to Serve Breakfast in Bed" and "Women's Clothing Sizes: WTF?" this book is perfect for any husband. Its small size makes it easy to bring with you on shopping trips as you attempt to find the perfect gift. ("There is no way to estimate or understand you wife's shirt, pant, or dress size, and if you guess either high or low she will be lastingly unhappy about it... We can land a man on the moon, but Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking working together for a decade would be unable to figure out this insanity.")
And with its discrete black cover you can read about "How to Fold Clothes" at work without being busted by the guys. ("If the clothes aren't fully dry, don't fold them. Unless, that is, you like to smell musty.")
The book will likely confirm things you already knew, but there's lots of new information too. It is a quick and easy read, and written with a good sense of humor. ("Spider-wrangling is a husband's sworn duty.")

Seriously, any book that has a step by step how to make a bed and how to buy jewelry is ok by me! I also love the 10 Commandments of Marriage. Basically this book backs you up on a ton of things you've said and he's ignored.

My Pillow Pets Review and Giveaway
My Pillow Pets are an all time favorite cuddly companion in this house! My daughter, my husband, and I all adore these incredibly soft little buddies. What makes a Pillow Pet so special? Well, for starters they are very cute and incredibly soft. You just want to hug and snuggle them. Another reason is that they are multi functional. What starts out as an adorable stuffed animal can be quickly transformed into a snuggly pillow. Perfect for car trips, sleep overs, vacations and more! You get two things in one!
We have several Pillow Pets in my house and we just can't seem to get enough of them. There's a huge variety with everything from Lady Bugs to Unicorns to Ducks to Dogs. There's is one (or more) for every child and what they like. That's where my problem comes in, I like so many of them!
We were fortunate enough to receive the Purple Fluffy Bunny for review. I was extra excited about this one because we have a real bunny and we don't have many bunny toys or stuffed animals. So I knew my daughter would recognize the "bum" right away and fall in love.

Receiving Cuddles Review and Special Offer!
I absolutley love unique and personal things. I have a entire box of keepsake items for my daughter and I've made a big scrapbook from her first year. This was such a cool process! First I dug out my daughter's old receiving blankets and sent them off in the mail. Then I filled out a form that Receiving Cuddles e-mailed me that allowed me to pick the color of my satin (the whole back and edges are made from this incredible satin that feels amazing) and type of ribbon decoration I would like on my blanket.
Then my final step came and I got to pick a pattern from a few photos I was sent. This was great, it really made me feel like I was involved in creating my very own custom blanket! Then the hardest part...waiting for it to arrive! It really took no time at all.... Cristalee works fast and creates perfection.
It arrived on a day that my in-laws were here and we were all in awe. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's a great size for my daughter to snuggle with, and it has so much meaning. I just adore it!

Gorton's Seafood Review and Giveaway
I am a lover of seafood and always look forward to our vacations at the beach so I can enjoy it! I have never really been brave enough to cook my own seafood at home, but I was really starting to miss it. So I decided to try something easy and see how it goes.
