Rock N Learn Review and Giveaway

As a teacher and I mom I know the value of providing educational materials to your child starting at a young age. But I also know how important it is that the learning be fun! My daughter loves music. She bops and sways along to good beats, so Rock N Learn is perfect for her!

Rock N Learn is a great place to go to find all kinds of educational DVD's and CD's that incorporate fun music into the learning experience. It captures kids attention and instills in them the valuable lessons being presented. They have a variety of subjects and grade levels. You can find everything from Nursery Rhymes and the Alphabet to Multiplication, Phonics, and even other languages!

Since my daughter is still very young, I decided to try out the Alphabet DVD. This DVD is geared for ages 3-5 and is about 45 minutes long. Here is a little bit about the DVD:
Children sing along with cool tunes for each letter, play musical games, and learn old and new alphabet songs as they reinforce letter recognition skills, learn letter-sound relationships, and even develop a richer vocabulary. As a special bonus… on the alphabet DVD version, children learn to print each capital and lowercase letter, as well as numbers 0 through 9.


My daughter had a blast with this DVD! She's a little young so she doesn't know her alphabet yet, but she was trying to imitate the songs. I think this is a great way to get her introduced to the alphabet in a fun way.  I loved the variety that this DVD has to offer. I no longer have to rely on the old favorite ABC's to teach my daughter. We can sing different songs, play games, and do activities. And the songs are parent friendly! Yay! I didn't get sick of them or have them running through my head all day. That is a major plus.


This DVD is a great way to mix it up and provide your preschooler with some new ways of learning the alphabet. I love that is includes other skills as well, like letter sounds and writing skills. This can really help get your little one ready for kindergarten or continue to expand skills they already have.
