Motherlove Review and Giveaway

Motherlove has created a line of products for mommies and babies that are made up of certified organic ingredients. They provide soothing products that are useful to mommies during pregnancy, labor and breastfeeding. Their ingredients are safe and gentle, allowing them to even be used on your babies sensitive skin.

Motherlove sent me their birth and baby oil for review. The first thing I thought when I pumped a little of this oil into my hand and rubbed it on my baby was, "oh man, why didn't I have this during labor?!?" Their is a subtle lavender scent that just immediately gives you a sense of relaxation. The oil is silky smooth and I could just imagine rubbing it over my over sized tight tummy. I truly think that this would have been a wonderful oil to have had with me during my labor experience.

But, it's also a great massage oil to use on your little ones skin. You can feel confident in the ingredients and just enjoy how smoothly it goes on. I really like using this oil on my baby girl, but I think I will be hoarding some of it away for my next pregnancy.

When I came across Herbal Water's website I became very interested. As I have mentioned before, I am becoming more and more interested in organic products. When I received my sample pack of Herbal Water I read that it should be tasted cold. So I popped them into the refrigerator and let them chill for awhile. After a few hours I tried the lemongrass mint vanilla flavor and immediately noticed how refreshing it was.  It had a subtle herbal flavor that quenched my thirst. It was really interesting that I could taste all three ingredients clearly. I also noticed that there was no aftertaste like you often have with sports drinks.  And I felt confident drinking it that I was only allowing natural ingredients into my body and no calories. 

I continued to taste all six flavors and was pleased with them all. They are unique because of the flavors being presented. I've never tasted anything quite like it!

Carrying my Baby EveryWear

So, as I mentioned in a previous post, I am the proud new owner of a lillebaby EveryWear Carrier! I was sent one free of charge and am now taking part in the iameverywear challenge! So where have been with my carrier?

Our first big outing was to a flower fair!

Our local nursery was displaying all kinds of beautiful flowers. We need to get some serious Spring gardening done at our house, so we headed out to see the great variety!

Hands free is the way to be!!

I love that there is nothing between me and my baby. She is always so happy to be carried, but she's getting heavy. So this carrier is a dream. We wandered for awhile and it was so comfy that we continued on to our favorite coffee shop.

It was such an awesome day and having this carrier made everything to much easier! We didn't have to maneuver our way through flower beds or the tiny coffee shop. And we were both comfy throughout the day. LOVE IT!!

They offer two different types of products, solid perfumes and body lotions. Both are truly phenomenal! The first thing I tried was the rose scented body lotion. It was rich and creamy. I only needed to use a small amount to cover a large area. It went on very smoothly and had this lovely floral scent. I also received lavender and coconut vanilla body lotions. They both smelled wonderful, but coconut vanilla is my favorite! It reminds me of being at the beach!

The solid perfumes are so interesting! They are little containers of a solid almost waxy substance. All you have to do is rub your finger on the solid perfume and then rub it wherever you would like the scent. It's amazing what a small amount you need to use in order to have a fabulous scent! I tried apricot chypre, organic forest terre and mimosa bouquet. Each one was different and unique and smelled great! My favorite is the apricot chypre. And they are perfect for tossing in your purse for freshening up on the go!

I love sunglasses. I feel like sunglasses are a summer accessory that just completes the outfit. For this reason I like to have several pairs in several colors.
