Snappets - Review

As a mom and a teacher I am always looking for fun, creative, educational things to do with my kids. We have boxes full of toys that sing and dance and make noise, so finding something unique that requires my kids to create is such a fabulous thing! So I am really excited to share something brand new with you... Snappets.

Snappets are paper hand puppets that you build yourself. This little kit arrived on our doorstep yesterday, so tonight we got to work and created something awesome that my daughter is still playing with.

With easy to follow, step-by-step instructions my daughter was able to put together an awesome dinosaur puppet. My husband loves dinosaurs, so he was anxious to get in on the fun and helped with inserting the tabs (which was really the only step she needed hands-on help with and she's 5, so it's a pretty independent activity!).

My daughter had such a great time putting her Snappets together. Her favorite part is that when you snap the dinosaurs mouth shut it really does snap! And now she is using her imagination and putting on a puppet show for her little brother using her Snappits. Very cool!

You can learn more about Snappets on the website and Facebook page. I also highly recommend you check out the Kickstarter page created for Snappets. This is the perfect place to get a full perspective of this fantastic new idea, how they have been used with a group of 1st graders, and all the cool dinosaur designs.

* I received a free sample of Snappets in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.
