EZ Sox Review and Giveaway

EZ SOX are fun learning socks for children and a helpful teaching tool for parents.
It helps build the confidence that pre-schoolers need as they learn to dress themselves.

I recently received a pair of the Bunny EZ Sox for review. I was really excited to check these out because they seem like such a cool concept. I am all for letting kids try and do things on their own. It really helps with their "can-do" attitude. And encourages them to dress themselves.

My daughter knows what a sock is and where is goes, but she can't get them on her feet. So I thought this would be something she would really enjoy working on. She's still a little young for them (she's only 18 months and they are recommended for 2 to 5), but she had the best time trying and that's what matters. When she started to show signs of frustration I would jump in and help her. Then she would smile a huge smile and say "sock"!  I know these will be a great tool as she gets a little older to get her socks on by herself!

I was really pleased with how sturdy the socks are. When you think about little ones tugging on little loops you just imagine the loops breaking. But the socks are really well made and I don't see these loops breaking easily. I also love that they have nonslip bottoms. Very well thought out! They offer a variety of fun animals and each pair is only $4.99.

GIVEAWAY: One Lucky Reader will win 1 pair of EZ Sox of the winners choice!

Holiday Gift Guide - Bitty Bows Boutique Review

No slip hair bows, barrettes, and hair accessories for babies and toddlers are our specialty! Baby bows, toddler hair bows, and fun clips for every holiday and occasion. Thousands of styles and colors possibilities of baby bows, toddler bows, flower hair clips, and barrettes.
Many custom accessory options available.

I recently had the opportunity to review one the bows offered by Bitty Bows Boutique. I chose the Charlotte Brown and Pink Dotted Hair Bow and am very happy with my choice! The first thing that stood out to me was the velvet wrapped alligator clip. I've never seen an alligator clip covered in velvet but love the idea. Not only does it make the clip non-slip, but it's also soft and gentle on my daughter's thin hair.

The bow measures about 3" across and is very well made. I feel like it's a little big for my daughter (who is only 18 months old), but I imagine it will look fabulous when she is a little older or has a little bit more hair!

Bitty Bows Boutique also offers a variety of other accessories, including clippies, flower clips, headbands, hats, and more. There is something for everyone and the prices are great!

Be sure to follow Bitty Bows Boutique on Facebook to keep up with new products and sales!

Oliver's Labels - Review

Oliver's Labels makes high quality waterproof labels and tags to stick on all your kids' stuff. Our labels are dishwasher & laundry safe and will never fade, scuff or peel.

We are considering putting our daughter in daycare for the two days a week that I work. So when I saw the opportunity to review Oliver's Labels I jumped on it! They have labels for everything.... little tiny labels for pencils and other small items, shoe labels, iron on clothing labels, labels you can put on sippy cups and more.

I was very pleased when the labels arrived! They are bright and clear and stick really well! I some on my daughter's sippy cups because even if we don't do daycare these cups go everywhere! I have hand washed and washed them in the dishwasher and they are stuck on perfectly. The name hasn't faded and the sticker hasn't peeled. I am thrilled!

Oliver's Labels have a really nice variety of label designs. I chose the animal faces, but they have everything from dinosaurs and sea life to school and sports. They even have lots of designs that older children would find cool, so you can keep them labeled for years to come!

Oliver's Labels also offers labels for children with allergies. You can easily notify those who are helping your children in the lunchroom as to whether your child is allergic to dairy, eggs, seafood, dairy, or gluten. I love this idea!

You can check out all of the great labels and designs and place your order at the Oliver's Labels website. You can also check them out on facebook and twitter to stay up to date on deals and sales!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Back to Reality

Wow, things have been quiet here on Momma Drama! I have to admit I've been slacking. I had plans to get lots of blogging done over the weekend, and share lots of great reviews and giveaways with all my fabulous readers. But, I was just having so much fun with my family. I had my sister in town and she stayed with us Wednesday through Friday and then Friday my brother-in-law and his fiancĂ©e came. I love having lots of people in the house!

We also took advantage of all the festivities going on in our area. We went to see Santa and went to a holiday parade that my dad's fire department was marching in. And then we decorated the house! I loved walking downstairs this morning to see the tree up and the staircase covered in garland and bows. I am so ready for the holiday season!

I have so much to be thankful for this year, and one of those things is you. I am so thankful for all of my wonderful readers. I love that whenever I have a question, problem, or just a funny story to tell... I can share it here and have my bloggy buddies comment and share their own experiences. It's a wonderful support system and it means so much to me. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

And don't worry... this week I will get back on track with lots of great stuff!

Old El Paso served us well! The seasoning mix was perfect. It was very easy to make and tasted great! We also like to add lots of things to our tacos. We had sour cream, cheddar cheese, salsa and some shredded lettuce. Really, all I need is the cheese and sour cream... yum!

Holiday Gift Guide - Didi Pop CD Review

Fast becoming one of L.A.’s hottest kids’ musicians, Deborah Poppink – aka DidiPop – invites families to join her on a vacation to Maui with her new CD, DidiPop Goes to Hawaii. Allowing her own distinctive artistry to blossom in the gentle atmosphere of the tropical Hawaiian Islands, DidiPop encourages kids and their caregivers to joyfully dance, sing, laugh, and feel the “Aloha Spirit” while picking up some good information about the Hawaiian alphabet, mangos and the hula!

This CD is so much fun! The music is so upbeat and lots of fun to dance to. It also takes you away. We were listening to this CD on a cold fall day and as we danced around we started to imagine we were some place warm and tropical. It was a nice little escape! The lyrics are fun and catchy. And I love how sometimes there are kids singing along with her. Coconut Candy and The Keiki Hula were my favorite songs.

I love when you find a CD that the kids love and the parents also enjoy listening to. This CD is unlike any other kid's CD that we have. The Hawaiian style makes it stand out!

You can listen to samples of the song and learn more about Didi Pop at her official website

Holiday Gift Guide - Aurora World Review and Giveaway

At Aurora World Inc., we strive to be the leader in safe, well-designed, fun and educational plush toys at a great price. We’re proud to offer a wide variety of plush to cover every phase of childhood,
including tweens to the still "young at heart."
We constantly introduce new products, so visit us often and see what’s new!

I recently had the opportunity to review a product from Aurora World Inc. and has so much fun browsing their website. They have all kinds of fun plush toys! After much deliberation I decided on the Fancy Pals. What drew me to the Fancy Pals were how unique they are. They have all kinds of cute animals that come inside a pet carrier. They have different kinds of dogs, cats, a unicorn, horse, sea otter and more! And each carrier is different. So you are sure to find one you love.

I think they idea of these Fancy Pals is really cool. It covers a wide range of ages because they are soft and cuddly pals, but they are also very cool and stylish in terms of having a fancy pet in a pet carrier. So kids as young as my daughter love them, but I think they will work all the way up to the tweens.
As I mentioned before, my daughter loves these little guys! She loves to carry the bag around like a purse. She also love to put the dogs in and take them out. They provide lots of entertainment for her. I also think they are fantastic! The animal and the carrier seem like high quality products that will last. And they retail for only $12.00 each.
GIVEAWAY: One Lucky Reader will win 1 Fancy Pal!

HOW TO ENTER: Leave a separate comment for each entry and be sure to leave your e-mail address!

Holiday gift Guide - Open Season on Blu-ray 3D

Open Season is a fun animated film that was released back in 2006.
But as of November 16th, it is now available on Blu-ray 3D!
This fun movie follows an unlikely pair, Boog the grizzly bear and Elliot the one antlered deer. The two meet in  a rather unfortunate situation when Elliot is strapped to the hood of hunters truck. Boog frees Elliot and then a silly friendship follows. Funnily enough, Boog lives the good life in a garage. He's never been on his own in nature and was raised by a human. So when Elliot comes into his life and shows him the ways of the "free" life things get a little out of control!

This is a great movie to watch with the family. My daughter loved it and so did my husband and I! We don't have a 3D capable TV, so the Blu-ray disk played in the normal 2D way.

This disk also offers some great special features. My daughter loved to boogie along to the music video "I Wanna Lose Control." There was also a short film entitled "Boog and Elliot's Midnight Run." This would make a great holiday gift!

Holiday Gift Guide - Red Envelope Review

I love shopping on Red Envelope! They have so many great gift ideas. The site is so easy to navigate because they break everything into categories. You can shop by occasion (Christmas, house warming, get well) or by person (him, her, kids and baby). And they have some really unique products! You may remember a while back I had the opportunity to pick an item for review from them and I chose the Mr. Beer for my husband. My husband is tough to shop for and this was the perfect gift for him!

Red Envelope also has tons of really unique Christmas gifts. Just in time for the holidays Red Envelope is offering a fantastic item for the whole family! The night Before Christmas Activity Kit is a great gift idea that can be opened BEFORE Christmas. Your kids will love you for that one!

This kit comes complete with:
  • ceramic plate for cookies for Santa – 8 ½” diameter
  • ceramic mug for cocoa - 11.5 ounces; approximately 4 ½” high x 5 1/4” wide with handle
  • 6 Mrs. Field’s chocolate chip nibbler cookies
  • 2 packets Mrs. Field’s cocoa mix (makes 2 mugs)
  • poem of “The Night Before Christmas” by Clement Clarke Moore
  • “Reindeer Games” activity book that includes games and challenges with a holiday theme such as “Snowflake Match Game”, “Santa’s Secret”, and “Festive Football”
  • packaging: red gift box with ivory grosgrain ribbon
  • “Instructions from Santa” attached to outside of box instructs the gift to be opened by Christmas Eve and to leave out cookies and cocoa for Santa

I love how this box comes all wrapped up as a present with the cute "Open Before December 24th" message on the front. Everything inside was packed so nicely to protect the dishes and cookies. The activity book is full of fun things for kids to do, like write letters to Santa! Really, it has everything you need to have a wonderful, fun filled Christmas Eve... or you could do some of the activities leading up to Christmas Eve. And then you get to reuse parts of the kit for years to come! What a great tradition!

You can purchase the Night Before Christmas Activity Set from Red Envelope for only $29.95.

Photo Drama

I feel like I haven't Momma Blogged in forever! Mostly because this month has been so packed with great reviews and giveaways. I think that holiday shopping is at the top of most of our minds! But another thing that always happens this time of year.... holiday photos.

So that was our mission today. my husband took off from work and we scheduled our whole day around our holiday photos. I scheduled our appointment a month ago so that we would get the first appointment of the day. This way the little one would be chipper and ready to smile for the camera.

We get there 15 minutes early and put her in her adorable Christmas dress. She is dressed like a princess with her dress, tights, and patent leather shoes. She looks adorable! We always have such good luck with her at photo shoots, too! Last year we spent a fortune on photos because every one was perfect. We were ready for this year!

We get all set up in our room and.... melt down. Total and complete melt down like I have never seen before. She wouldn't sit, she wouldn't stop crying, she wouldn't smile, she wouldn't have anything to do with the poor guy with the camera. The only word she could mutter between sobs was "NO." The camera man gave up and wanted to stop. But I wouldn't have it. I needed a good picture... my Christmas cards depended on it!

So I picked her up and tried to comfort her. The clinging begins. She wouldn't let go of me. Who is this kid? My daughter has no problem when I walk out the door and leave her with someone else. Ok, time to give up.

We sat down to view our photos and had trouble finding ONE for the Christmas card. What an experience!

Holiday Gift Guide - Invisible Glass Review

My husband is really hard to shop for. But when I received my box of Invisible Glass samples his face lit up like a child on Christmas morning! It really made me wish I didn't let him see it and had wrapped it up for Christmas!

Invisible Glass was developed with two simple objectives: superior cleaning power and “invisible” clarity.  When you compare Invisible Glass to ordinary “blue water” glass cleaners, you’ll immediately see how quickly it removes even the most difficult grime, making glass virtually “disappear”.

Having a toddler in the house basically means that there are finger prints on everything! We have a sliding class door in our playroom that is covered in hand prints and drool. I find I am cleaning it all the time and am sometimes surprised to see what is stuck to the glass..... smeared yogurt, soggy cheerios... you get the idea. So we are always excited to try new products that will be easy to use and leave our glass sparkling and streak free.
Invisible Glass worked great! We started with the sliding door and with just a quick wipe down all the gunk was gone. My husband then took the very cool Reach and Clean tool and went to work on the car windshields (which I may add have not been cleaned since the summer... yikes!). He came back smiling and said the Reach and Clean made it so easy to clean the whole windshield and get to every corner. He was happy with how streak free it was and how clean it got.

My mother-in-law happened to be here and asked if she could take some of the samples home to let my father-in-law try. She thought this would be a hit with him, too! We may see a lot of Invisible Glass under the Christmas Tree this year!

You can check out Invisible Glass's webpage for more details. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for updates and more information!
