I was recently given the amazing opportunity to review a fabulous item from their collection....
I began enjoying this product the moment it arrived because... it was easy to assemble! Yay! This is huge for me because I am not talented in the building area and often have to wait for my husband to get home to put things together. I decided to try this one myself and was amazed at how clear the instructions were and how simple it really was to build.
Everything was in great condition and packaged nicely.
Ta-Da! I was SO proud of myself! But now that it's built the fun has juts started. First I will mention a few things about the actual kitchen that I love. I love that it's wood. It is such a high quality and it's very sturdy and it looks nice. It's really a very classic looking toy that can go in any room. I also love the size. So many kitchen say they are appropriate for ages three and up. This kitchen was designed for toddlers. It's the perfect size for them, it's sturdy enough for them to lean on, and it's small enough for them to navigate all around it to enjoy both sides of the kitchen. But the older kids love it, too! I have had several 3 year olds over and they love to play with it.
This kitchen has quickly become my daughters favorite toy. She LOVES to open and shut the doors and put all her toys inside. She also quickly discovered that the green sink can be taken out leaving a great hole to drop all her toys down. She loves that. She has a little trouble getting the microwave door open because it's higher and on ours it seems to have a stronger magnet. So that has been her only area of frustration.
I have been having a ball watching her play and learn with this kitchen. I showed her how to put her pots and tea pot on the burners and now she does it all on her own. She puts the tea pot on the burner before bringing me cups for our tea parties... it's so amazing to see her imagination and play skills flourish with this toy!
This kitchen is such a wonderful toy! It has been a wonderful introduction for me to the Guidecraft company and I feel confident that their toys and furniture are high quality and I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future.I'm already thinking about Christmas shopping!!
