Mother's Day is right around the corner! I am very excited to celebrate my second Mother's Day this year. When I think of Mother's Day I very often think of flowers. It's spring time and the flowers are blooming, mother's signify new life, they just compliment each other very well. And ProFlowers is a fantastic place to go if you are looking to send your mother, grandmother, or any special woman in your life a beautiful bouquet to honor them.
ProFlowers recently gave me the wonderful opportunity to receive one of their Mother's Day Flowers for this review. Let me just tell you, it's a wonderful feeling to receive flowers. These flowers weren't even being sent by a loved one and I still got all excited to open the door and receive my flowers. I hurriedly opened them up and admired their beauty.
I had requested the Deluxe Pink Sapphire Bouquet because it has my favorite, pink roses. It also has several other types of flowers in it to make it even more interesting to look at and has bursts of purple throughout. It's truly gorgeous. But my favorite part was that the buds were just getting ready to bloom. I was thrilled to be able to see them open the very next day!
This bouquet sat on my kitchen table for several days brightening up my kitchen and my mood. I could only imagine the joy that would be multiplied by knowing it was specially picked out for me by someone that I loves. Sending flowers is the ideal way to send that message of gratitude, respect, and love!
I would highly recommend that you check out ProFlowers wonderful selection of bouquets and plants. They even offer a nice selection of gifts and yummy treats. There is definitely something for every personality! And they even have a coupons page to help you save a little!

Katie Crafts Review and Giveaway
A very good friend of mine recently opened her own Etsy shop, Katie Crafts. I was so excited to check it out because I know how creative she is. She and I took many art classes together in college and she was amazing at everything she did. A true artist.
I was very impressed when I checked out her shop. It's filled with incredibly unique items for both adults and children. She was kind enough to send a whole bunch of her items to me for both my daughter and myself! So exciting. I opened the bundle and found so many original pieces. These are not items you will find at your local stores, these are truly one of a kind accessories!
I love that she made me and my daughter matching hair pieces! My daughter got a clip and I got a headband. Very cute!
She also made this awesome ponytail holder with a flower on it. I love this one because I wear my hair in a ponytail a lot for work because I never have time to really put much effort into it. I feel like this flower just dresses up a simple look.
And then there is the cupcake brooch which is just adorable. Who wouldn't want to wear a cute cupcake?
Everything is made so professionally. The clips are sturdy the decorations are secure. These pieces are made to look great and last a long time! And with spring knocking at our door why not put flowers in your hair?
Katie Crafts makes everything from hair clips to headbands to brooches. She even gives you the opportunity to customize your own items! I highly recommend you check out her shop!

BabyLegs Review and Giveaway
When my daughter was really tiny one of the things I really wanted was baby leg warmers. I think they are the cutest things! And being a child of the 80's made me feel like I was passing down a really cool style to my little one. They are cute, stylish, and functional... and the place to get them is BabyLegs!
BabyLegs has an amazing selection of leg warmers for boys and girls. They also carry socks and tights. One of the things I love most is that they are always coming out with new designs for each season and occasion. There is really something for everyone and every outfit.
I received a great package from BabyLegs that included 2 pairs of leg warmers, 2 pairs of socks and a pair of tights. I asked for them in size 2T since my little one is turning 2 in May. All of the products are adorable with different colors and prints. And they are soft and comfy. I am happy to put them on my daughter!
Here is a picture of my daughter sporting the Red Rose Stripes leg warmers. These were perfect for her as she played and crawled around the house!
So one of the main reasons I wanted leg warmers when she was really little was because she was crawling. The leg warmers were super easy with diaper changes but provided protection for her little knees. Now that she's bigger it is still a huge help with diaper changes, but I find them to be so great for potty training! We have just started this process and I feel the timing is great. It's now warm enough to wear a dress with a pair of leg warmers and she is good to go. It makes the process easier.
GIVEAWAY: One Lucky Reader will win a grab bag of BabyLegs! (winner picks the size and gender)

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure Review
Available Today!
I don't know about you, but I am a big fan of High School Musical. I think it was a fun, upbeat, musically entertaining movie that is fun for the whole family. I even have it on DVD so I can watch it with my daughter when she is a little older.so if you are familiar with High School Musical then you are surely familiar with one of the stars, Sharpay. Sharpay is played by the fabulous Ashley Tisdale and is the drama queen of all drama queens. While she's not exactly the most likable character in the movie, she is certainly one of the most entertaining.
The two things about Sharpay that always stuck out to me were her sense of style and her desire to be number one. She desperately wanted to be the biggest and best star in the show and often threw fits at the challenges standing in her way. But she threw these fits looking fabulous! A girl after my own heart, she wears pink from head to toe!
Sharpay has such a strong personality that it only serves her character that she would have her own movie. On April 19th you can get to know Sharpay in a much more personal way in her own adventure, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.
What I really enjoyed about this film was that Sharpay finally has the spolight in a way that allows us to realy get to know her. While she is still the spotlight crazy fashionista that we all know, this adventure allows us to see another side of her and understand who she really is.
The film is filled with upbeat and catchy tunes that you and your children will love to sing and dance along to. And while you are having a blast with the music you will be learning all about believing in your dreams and yourself. It's a motivating and entertaining film that parents won't mind watching right along with their kids!
You can check out a clip of this great movie HERE! And you can save $8 by clicking on the image below!

Celebrate National Park Week with Energizer!
With the sites and smells of spring in the air I really get the itch to get outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. From the newly blooming flowers to the buds on the trees to the birds singing in the morning, it's a beautiful time of year. In fact, it's the perfect time of year to celebrate some of nature's most beautiful gifts to us, our National Parks.
Protecting and preserving our National Parks is a national responsibility. We want them to remain in all their beauty for our future generations to be able to enjoy. So Energizer has teamed up with the National Park Foundation to launch a public effort to power and preserve America’s national parks. Here is a little bit about all the cool things they have going on this week.
Helping to launch the program is outdoor enthusiast, Peter Facinelli of The Twilight Saga and Nurse Jackie. The program brings awareness to the importance of preserving our country’s greatest natural resources and gives people a number of ways to get involved.
Live Facebook Chat with Peter Facinelli
Peter Facinelli fans can chat with the actor and outdoor enthusiast on Wednesday, April 20 at 1 p.m. EST. To participate in the chat, visit the Parks tab on the Energizer Bunny Facebook page. Here is a direct link to RSVP to the event:
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?.eid=167010140019086.
National Park Week
From April 16 through April 24, the country celebrates National Park Week. Not only can everyone receive free admission to all national parks this week, but people can also text BUNNY to 27722 to trigger a $1 donation from Energizer to the National Park Foundation, up to $50,000. Energizer’s goal is to donate $400,000 to the National Park Foundation this spring, and the public can help them get there.
Product Purchase
Right now in stores specially-marked Energizer products contain a special code so when someone buys three participating products, he or she can go online to www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/blogs and redeem the codes for a $10 reward toward a national park adventure or elect for Energizer to donate the reward directly to the National Park Foundation.
Get Hands On
For the people who prefer to get more hands-on, they can RSVP to join a now that’s positivenergy™ national park volunteer event by visiting www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/blogs or facebook.com/energizerbunny and clicking on the Parks tab. While there, visitors also have the power to select one of the park recipients through an online vote, which runs from Monday, April 18, through Friday, May 13. Each park hosting an event will receive a grant from Energizer and a donation of responsible power solutions including solar panels, chargers, batteries, solar lights and other lighting products.
Energizer is offering you the opportunity to win a $10 gift card to either Walmart or Target.

Tea Review
Designer Clothing for Children and Women
I adore unique clothing. I love putting my daughter into a sweet little outfit and knowing that no one at the playground will be wearing the same thing. Tea is a great place to shop for just those unique styles.
Tea offers designer clothing for children and women and they have so much cute stuff. I was fortunate enough to receive an outfit for them for review. I received a really cute top and a pair of pants that are cute, stylish, and yet totally functional for a 2 year old.
The first thing I noticed about them was how incredibly soft the material is. I put my daughter in it right away and she looked adorable! They are a little big since I went for a size bigger (hoping for room to grow), but she still wore it all day and looked very comfortable.
The shirt is really neat with the buttons along the shoulder. It takes a simple t-shirt style and just adds something so unique. The first thing my husband commented on was how he loved that the pants were gathered at the bottom to keep them from going up all the time. It's hard to keep pant legs down with a toddler, so these are great!
They are also easy to clean and came out of the washer and dryer looking new. You can tell the quality is very high!

I am very pleased with the quality and style of the clothing I received. I would recommend you check out their site, especially their super cute spring dresses!
Coke Inspired Family Meal Time
I think everyone has those special mealtime memories from being a kid. Something that was really special and really fun! Something you always looked forward to. For our family it was pizza night. Pizza night brought a few special things that didn't happen any other night of the week. It was really exciting for my sister and I to know that every Friday pizza night was coming!
We didn't drink too much soda in my house when we were younger. It was saved for special occasions, like holidays or parties. And pizza night! My dad always made sure that we had soda on pizza night. And what better flavor goes with pizza than Coke.
My dad being the awesome guy that he is, didn't let the fun stop when the pizza was gone. We would always have the big bottles of Coke, so after dinner we would take vanilla bean ice cream and make Coke floats! We would let the ice cream sit on the counter for a few minutes so it would get nice and soft. This way you could drink it with a straw. And then of course you top it off with some whip cream and a cherry! And every once in awhile he would really surprise us and bring home the old fashioned Coke bottles. He loved those because he always told us how it reminded him of his childhood.
I remember we used to have a refrigerator in the garage that was always stocked with drinks. Especially in the summer when my dad would be doing a lot of work in the yard and we would be playing outside. My dad would sometimes stock the fridge with those really cool old fashioned Coke bottles. That was a real taste of summer. We would get so excited to see them.
Pizza nights had such an impact on me as being a really fun family night, that my family has continued the tradition. Sometimes we order pizza, sometimes we make our own. But we always have Coke (or cherry Coke since that's a favorite in our house). And we always have tons of fun!
I'm excited for my daughter to get a little bit older so I can see the excitement in her when it comes to family pizza night. Some traditions are just meant to be kept alive, and this is definitely one of them. Pizza, Coke, and ice cream. What more could a kid, or an adult, want?
*I wrote this blog post while participating in the SocialMoms and Coca-Cola® blogging program. If I am one of the first 100 blogs received by SocialsMoms, I will receive a $25 gift card. For more information on the program, click here.
