Inspired by the best-selling SKECHERS Kids footwear line, join Grace “Twinkle Toes” Hastings as she headlines her first-ever, full-length animated feature film, TWINKLE TOES: THE MOVIE, debuting exclusively on DVD on July 31, 2012 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
When I heard about this movie I knew it would be something my daughter would love to watch! Grace and my daughter have a lot in common. They both love to dance, but get really shy when it comes to dancing in front of other people. My daughter finds her comfort zone at home, dancing in front of me and her daddy. But as soon as she is out in front of anyone else, you see this little shy girl come out! Grace finds her comfort zone dancing in front of her good friend, Walter the bunny.
We sat down to watch this movie one afternoon and my daughter was totally into it. We were able to talk a lot of Grace and what kind of a person she is. My daughter identified that she loved to dance, and was very good at it! We then talked about her feelings about having to dance in front of other people and how it must have made her feel .
This movie is inspired by the amazing line of kids wear from Skechers. If you haven't seen the Twinkle Toes shoes you have to check them out! In the film, Grace has a great pair of sparkly shoes, and now my daughter wants a pair too!
We had a great time watching Grace grow as a person as she made some new friends who inspired and supported her. This film is filled with great messages for girls about how they can do whatever they want to do and they should never be afraid to shine!
